Weekend mini-break/roadtrip to Oman (its a different country!) - The Jebel Shams Resort accommodation is half-board and we arrived just in time for dinner and this was pretty much everything at the buffet:

Cabbage salad / Fattoush/ hummus / yoghurt / rice / fish in tomato sauce / some sort of marinaded delicious chicken / rice / roast potatoes / pasta with sundried tomatoes 

Access to the Crown Lounge (thanks Etihad silver!) at Queen Alia Airport where I only had about 15mins - Green stuff, potato + vegetable balls, bread with cream cheese.

Last breakfast before check-out and went all out - Fried eggs, rye bread, lamb sausages, beans, some turkish beef thing, smoked salmon / Waffle with chocolate sauce, maple syrup, banana and other fruits

Late lunch/early dinner at the Ashur Pizza & Grill - Rigatoni carbonara

A late breakfast the morning after the wedding - omelette, beans, lamb sausages and a bread roll

Chocolate cupcakes (red velvet was also available) for snacks after carving it up on the wedding dancefloor.

Wedding menu: Prawns and avocado salad / Roast lamb loin with grilled vegetable stack / Chocolate fondant and vanilla ice cream

Pink sparkly and canapes with a panoramic sunset view of the Dead Sea? Don’t mind if I do!
